Wear More, Wash Less

Taking good care of your ALULU pieces will extend their life, conserve natural resources and minimise the chances of your garment ending up in textile landfill.

Take Care

ALULU pieces are created with the intent to be a part of your wardrobe for years to come. To ensure their longevity, we encourage thoughtful practices when caring for your pieces. Taking care of your garments will extend their life and minimise your environmental footprint.

  • We recommend a cold gentle hand wash with luke-warm water followed by line drying or drying flat in the shade. Do not machine  wash your swimwear. As a general rule, limit washing until completely necessary.

  • High amounts of chlorine will damage your swimwear. Neutralise any residual evidence of chlorine by rinsing after wear.

  • Always use mild detergent. Strong detergents are not kind to your swimwear.

  • Avoid contact with rough surfaces as this may cause pulling to swimwear.

  • We recommend that you do not wear your swimsuit in spa baths, as it could cause damage to your swimsuit due to high chemical levels.
