All customers are responsible for customs/imports duties & taxes on orders outside of Australia. ALULU is legally required to declare the full value paid on shipments and must include an invoice for customs should they require it.We recommend contacting your local custom office for further information.

International orders are subject to the duties and taxes determined by the country to which they are shipped. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient to pay upon delivery and are not included in the product(s) price. It's important to contact your local customs office for further information and an estimate of these costs before placing your order. Any delays paying these customs fees will result in a delay of delivery of your order. 

Return Policy

Once you’ve shipped your return, no further changes can be made to your return request. If you need to make any adjustments, please contact our Customer Care team before sending your item back.

All returned items must be in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, and with all tags and hygiene stickers intact.

Please allow 4–6 business days for our returns team to process your return once it has been received.

  • Free Return Shipping: We offer free return shipping for returns opting for a Store Credit or Exchange.
  • Refund Requests: If you request a refund, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. A $10 flat Return Handling Fee per return request (RMA) and a $3 restocking fee per item will be deducted from your refund. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Items marked as “FINAL SALE” are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit unless they are faulty.

At ALULU, we’re delighted to provide exchanges for our Australian customers. Please be aware that if your original purchase included a discount code, the same discount will not apply to the exchanged item.

You have 30 days from the date of purchase to initiate an exchange through our Returns Portal. Once your returned item has been received and inspected at our warehouse, your exchange order will be processed, and you’ll receive tracking details as soon as your new item is on its way.

If you’re unable to send back your item within the required timeframe and the requested item becomes unavailable, your exchange will be treated as a standard return, and you’ll receive a store credit or refund, in line with our returns policy.

Refunds for eligible returns will be subject to a $10 handling fee per return request (RMA), as well as a $3 restocking fee per item. These fees will be deducted from your refund at the time of processing. Please note that the original shipping cost is non-refundable.

Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method used for the order. If multiple payment methods were used (e.g., store credit combined with PayPal, credit card, debit card, or Afterpay), the refund will be allocated proportionally across those methods. Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider, so please allow up to 10 business days for the refunded amount to appear in your account.

Store credits are issued as gift cards with a validity of 3 years (36 months) and cannot be extended beyond their expiration date.

If you’ve received a faulty item, we’re here to help. Simply initiate your return through our Returns Portal and select “DAMAGED” as the reason. Be sure to provide a detailed description of the fault to assist our returns team in reviewing your request.

Items purchased using a discount code are eligible for return through our Returns Portal if the discount applied is less than 25% off.

When you join our mailing list, you’ll receive a discount code to use on your first full-priced purchase. You’ll also gain access to exclusive promotions and flash sales from time to time. However, please note that orders placed prior to the start of a sale or promotion are not eligible for adjustments, partial refunds, or exchanges based on the new offer—no exceptions.

The $20 off your first order discount code is valid only on full-priced items and cannot be applied to sale or discounted items.

At ALULU, we know you will adore your swimwear, but if you’re not completely satisfied, we accept returns for a refund, store credit, or exchange for most full-priced items, provided the items meet our return conditions. To initiate a return, please visit our Returns Portal.

Full-Priced Items: Eligible for refund, store credit, or exchange.

Sale Items: Only eligible for a store credit. No refunds or exchanges.

Final Sale Items: Non-refundable and ineligible for return, exchange, or store credit.

Preorder Items: Treated as full-priced items unless otherwise stated.

Please note that all international return postage costs, including those from New Zealand, are the responsibility of the customer.

How to Return

Step 1: Submit your return request through our Returns Portal.

Please allow 2 business days for your return request to be reviewed and approved.

Step 2: Once approved, securely package your items using standard postal packaging. Ensure all items are in their original condition—unwashed, unworn, and with tags and hygiene stickers intact.

Step 3: We strongly recommend using a registered or express post service to ensure your return can be tracked. ALULU is not responsible for lost return parcels. Providing a tracking number will assist us in monitoring your return.

Free Gift with Purchase Policy

1. Optional Free Gift

The Free Gift with Purchase is optional and can be removed from your order during checkout if you do not wish to receive it. Simply deselect the item before completing your purchase.

2. Returning an Order with a Free Gift

If you decide to return an order for a refund, the Free Gift must also be returned in its original, unused condition along with the item(s) being returned.

If the Free Gift is not included in your return, the retail value of the Free Gift will be deducted from your refund. The retail value of the Free Gift will be specified in the promotional terms or as listed on our website at the time of purchase.

3. Store Credit or Exchange Returns

If you choose a store credit or exchange, you may keep the Free Gift. No deductions will apply.

4. Important Notes

  • The Free Gift must meet the same return conditions as the purchased items: unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with tags or hygiene stickers intact (where applicable).
  • This policy applies to all orders where a Free Gift was offered as part of a promotional campaign.
